There are so many factors that go into this - and at the end of the day, I'm not sure why it would matter.
But anyway, dating options do not depend solely on looks. A fairly attractive woman that goes out all the time, works in a place where she is exposed to a lot of different people everyday, is very friendly and outgoing is probably going to have more dating options than a gorgeous woman that keeps to herself, doesn't go out, and is cold and unfriendly. A gorgeous woman that goes out all the time, has a great personality, and is very outgoing is probably not hurting for options - but I'm not sure it would be measurably more than her fairly attractive counterpart. I would say that gorgeous women probably get straight up hit on more than other women - but since those guys aren't necessarily looking to "date" - I'm not sure I would count them as dating options.
Agreed. If looks are distributed on a bell curve, gorgeous and very unattractive are equally rare. Most women fall into the "average" category. A gorgeous woman may be seen as high maintenance, unapproachable, unkeepable, and many men who lack confidence will not want to deal with the attention she gets from others. Average women who can "clean up" to look above average will ALWAYS have more dating options.
