Why not have her over to your house, skip Applebee's, and buy a Tuna Helper with a large can of BumbleBee tuna? And serve some Apple Crisp for dessert?
Right now they have that 30 shrimp for like 13 bucks or something right now, and that's REALLY tempting. I love fried shrimp so much, and you get 2 different kinds of fried shrimp + sides for super cheap.
If I were approaching women, I wouldn't care if she thought Red Lobster was trashy, I'm goin' to eat all that shrimp!
Damn, of course that 30 shrimp deal costs nearly 50% more in NYC. That's no deal! By the time you order a drink or two, you're better of going to a more inexpensive mom and pop restaurant.

Could be a great place to grab a date meal, but the guy should splurge for a slurpee too to prove that he's not a broke balla and that his pimpin' is strong.
Shows you have bad tase and lack wisdom. Applebees is one of the worst deals on quality for cost you can find. Plus it is all full of other people who do not know how to find a decent place to eat. INstead show her how clever you are, find a great place with great food and reasonable prices. Then go there a half dozen times and be really nice and tip well. That way when you take her there, they know you by name and treat you well becasue they already love you. That will impress the heck out of her.
If you are cheap or broke, find a nice italian resturaunt. Italian food tends to be cheaper because Pasta costs nothing.

A budget balla doesn't have the time or money for all this. OP, go ahead and hit up the local AB's .. .stick with the 2 for $20 menu. You can't go wrong, brah.
