I think it is perfectly reasonable to meet for coffee. I aso think the pressure is off regarding the night cub or dinner type situation. Meet at a spot the would be conducive to taking a walk nearby, or just leisurely sitting for a couple of hours getting to know each other.
The plus is, if you really hit it off you can take a small break mid afternoon and then meet later for dinner or an impromptu evening date.
I don't think meeting for breakfast should happen until after the 1st meeting. I think all 1st meets should be in the evening and if u hit it off then u can see each other for breakfast

I disagree.....I think meeting for coffee is casual and safe it would allow you to get a feel for the person see what they're like without having to sit through a dinner, if all goes well at coffee then arrange a dinner date.

Yes meeting for coffee is fine in the afternoon early evening but meeting for breakfast should be later
That's your preference......I'm a morning person so i would rather it be morning than evening.
how would this even happen? Most people work Monday from Friday and why would someone want to wake up extra early on a saturday or sunday to meet someone they never met?
