This board just made me feel better! I think it's been almost 6 years for me. After my last breakup, the last thing I wanted to do was date or sleep with someone. Once I was ready to date, I only met guys I wasn't interested in. All of a sudden, it seems like everyone my age is married, so I really have no one to date or have sex with.
I'm sure if I just wanted a FWB that I could have one, but I outgrew that years ago. Sometimes I think about trying it again, but I think that would just make me lonely. Besides, too many consequences with that one. My life's in a good place, so I don't want to complicate it.
