Hopefully, they have enough experience and can tell when is the right time. Hospice people are very good with that.

Yeah really. We are a depressing bunch for a Saturday night. BOOBIES!
My dog Yoda (you can see him in profile albums), is reaching the 12 year mark this year. Hopefully he'll truck along for a few more years, and pass peacefully. The family did have to put down his brother though due to illness.

One of my dogs is 13, I have had since he was a pup. That little guy hasn't slowed down a bit. He loves to still run and chase critters with the best of them. He has the happiest look on his face when does it too.
