I called from my home phone last night because my cell phone needed to be charged but I didn't unblock my number. I did send a text before I called from my home phone and when she answered she said

"Make sure you continue to send a text before you call from home letting me know it's you because sometimes my EX calls from a UNknown number and I want to avoid his calls."

Would you be turned off?

I would say "Please text me before you call because I don't answer unknown numbers."

A lot of people don't want to answer unknown calls for various reasons. You don't want to date a woman that has an ex? Most adults looking for a relationship have an ex.

I don't see why that would be a turnoff.

Not based on the information given. If he was a problem, a restraining order would be in place and he's be arrested for calling.

Ask her what her situation is with her ex. Next time press *82 before you dial her phone number.

No; if she acknowledged and takes your calls, you're fine.
