I'm a "straight" female and I enjoy female on female porn. I enjoy straight porn. I don't gravitate towards male on male, because it doesn't do anything for me. It doesn't particularly gross me out at all, but I'm kind of neutral on it.
I find the female form beautiful, and two women enjoying themselves is enticing. I agree with the above, that it's about the passion for me. I've heard men are more visual creatures, whereas women tend to be more emotional and sensual (don't slay me, I know everyone is different). I've found there is less straight porn out there with passion that is common in true lesbian porn. By "true" I mean the women seeming to really enjoy themselves, wherein a lot of straight porn the women are "acting" for the man. Any lady who has watched porn where the woman has instantly orgasmed when the guy touched her knee know what I'm talking about. That's just annoying.
I'm not trying to instigate a big debate here. I just really want to know some (many?) men find the thought of two women having s*x is so exciting -- or at least watching porn with two women together.
To my mind, that's sort of like me watching two men together. It wouldn't gross me out or anything, and I might even be a little curious about what exactly goes on between a couple of guys, but the thought of it (or the thought of watching it) doesn't turn me on.

I'm not intimidated by watching lesbians use toys, but that kind of porn bores me. I guess it's because I like to 'feel' what's going on in the scene. It's about domination. Males who are fascinated with the girl on girl thing are those who look at this as woman in a weakened state. There is a predatory aspect to this fetish. As a kid I saw dairy cattle mounting each other...two females...but I came to the possible realization that they were preparing for the arrival of the bull. It's hard to say what this is really about. Recently my youngest son commented that a lot of young woman on dating sites insert the word bi-sexual into their profile. Thinking that it might attract more men.
My son laughed and said..>"Who needs a girl like that- it's bad enough having to watch out for all the guys - with these types it would be double the trouble and you would have to look out for interloping females also - no thanks"
Also with so-called fashionable female bi-sexuality - There is really no future with a woman who is so predisposed. There will not be a happy and secure family life and traditional values will not be upheld. I had a friend who was married to a bi-sexual woman...all she brought him was disruption- heart ache and irritation.
Personally I find it quite disturbing but I'm about the only guy on the planet that I know of who says no to girl-on-girl. It's not even really interesting or whatever to me.

I think it's about intimacy and eroticism with lesbians. Yes, there appears to be more of a 'connection' with lesbian porn because there's more touching, caressing.etc than straight or gay porn. Males tend to be more about the sex act, while with women there's the emotional connection. Of course that's just what it seems, because lesbian pornography isn't really any more real than straight porn (I mean any porn has a degree of reality to it). Many of these women are acting and many identify as straight in real life and may have boyfriends. In fact it's often seen as milder sort of porn than doing straight porn. Some porn actresses only do girl-girl.

I don't think a lot of men consider the brutal reality of such arbitrary attraction. I had a male acquaintance who married a woman who discovered that she was bi-sexual. There were no merry threesomes for him; she left him for a woman, and that was that. She later went on to marry another mad, but that's another story entirely.
All I know is that for him, her bi-sexuality was anything but a turn-on.
