I had a friend who wanted to get serious with me. He pursued me on and off for a year. But I was dating someone else. Several years later, we ran into each other after a long time living on opposite sides of the country. We were both unattached. I realized what a great guy he was and I was ready to date him. However, he had no time because his career was so demanding. He worked 7 days a week, almost around the clock. During his free time all he did was sleep. I stopped seeing him.
A year-and-a-half later I ran into him. He was married, with a baby on the way. I wanted to cry.
