Sit down when sleepy.

It takes less than 2 seconds for us guys to lift the toilet seat every time we use the toilet and we don't complain. Don't understand why women would for something that also takes them less than two seconds.

LOL. I think my husband is the same their mom has ALL boys so she's the ONLY woman in the house. My husband and his bro (few times I've been in his house) do always have BOTH - seat AND lid down.

If you want to spray lysol on the toilet seat every time you touch it go ahead.

Me, I just wash my hands.

My husband has learned that I am not a pleasant person to deal with when I have a wet arse. He has adjusted his actions accordingly.

How the hell do you sit down without putting down the toilet seat?

Really that's an argument. Well, I sit down when I go to the bathroom anyway, but I don't put down the toilet lid.

The hygienic argument is stronger than my case of not putting down a toilet lid, so I will do it if asked. Compromises in relationships are all about priority. You will change on issues that are not that important to you, and she will change her actions on issues that are not so important to her, but important for me.

It's not about touching the toilet seat, it's about the bacteria that sprays when the toilet is flushed with the lid open.
