I LOVE to dress up in a fancy dress, do my hair in an updo and makeup. Also wear high heels that normally I can't walk iI have pair of 5" heels that I wear when I sit at a bar stool or out to dinner. Also on a date that is secure enough for me to wear heels.
Yeah they are stilts and hurt my feet. But how many times do women wear shoes that are not comfortable..that would be me. That is why I wear them when I am not walking much. I wore them out to dinner on valentines day in Philly...of of course the bathrom was upstairs.
Why are sundays depressing, IDK, I've battled depression most of my life, it just feels "heavy" I guess because of the coming work week and crap like that.
I figured it to be a charity event, that nice of you guys for doing that sort of thing. Hopefully standing around all night won't be too tiring......
It was a nice event...and home just before the rain hit!
You definitely need to find a new job if you feel this down at the end of the weekend.

We are home after 2300 miles. We picked the bird up from "summer camp" (boarding) on our way home. Apparently she wasn't very cooperative. The guy said she spent the whole time telling him "no!" She didn't want to step up, she didn't want an apple, she didn't want to go outside. Guess she didn't want to socialize with the other birds. What a brat! However, when he brought out her travel cage and asked if she wanted to go home, she stepped right up on his finger with no squawking, biting, or telling him no. LOL
Who needs kids when you have a bird that's a perpetual toddler?
Yes birds instead of kids...it's legal to keep them in a cage and when they sass you...you can just through a sheet over them...where were you when I needed this advice???
That bird is far cuter than many of the whining screaming brats that are some (read most) people's children.
