How lazy can you get. Call don't text. Invite her to do something, an event, a movie, something. She's a lot more likely to accept your invitation if it is to do something fun. When "Jaws" came out, I took three different girls to see it.

i wasn't being lazy w this girl. i was just not that interested or i would have asked her for a specific date. the lazy part was me not looking for girl 2 and 3 at the same time. i only talked to her for 3 days all of which she was working. she started the texting early in her work day and i wasn't going to call her while she was working.
Why did you even bother to ask, then? Your lack of drive and initiative would be laughable if it weren't so pathetic.

much of my lack of drive and initiative is due to my current life circumstances. i have a lot of stuff that i'm juggling outside of my social life. i was attempting to fit in dating, but i just don't have enough energy to put into it to make that work. all of that should be resolved in a month.

how would you know if you are not me? i did set myself up to fail. it wasn't a great first meeting, just ok and i didn't sense a whole lot of interest from her. you could have gotten that from my previous posts.
if i feel some definite chemistry, then yeah, i'll come right out and ask for a specific second date.
the excuses, were more about not meeting other women, not about not asking for a specific date with this one.
