Because they are young. And for many men (though, not all by any means) youth equals beauty.
p.s. They are also inexperienced and don't know if you suck in bed.
There. Fixed.
No. And no. I know girls that have slept with over 20 guys before they left high school. Hardly inexperienced. Secondly, no matter what the media tells you, you don't get to hold onto your looks forever. The exception does not make the rule. 20 somethings are generally more physically attractive than 30s, 40s and so on. It's biology.

Goes for men too. Contrary to popular belief, men are NOT a separate (immortal) species and they too, possess telomeres that shorten with time (age).
Ha ha. Men sag too...and in the most interesting of places.
No one is denying this. Men just peak in attractiveness later in life.
I don't think it's that men "peak" later in life. They look their best when young too. I think it's that, overall/in general/etc that women are more forgiving of looks because other qualities are equally important to them where as women have always been judged primarily on beauty by everyone (not just men, but other women and society as a whole). Men on the other hand are often judged by their success (again not just by women but other men too) and success often goes up with age.
