If youre gonna lose your political job like he did anyway if you get caught, why not just visit prostitutes? How could sexting be more fulfilling than that? He must be just lazy.
One doesn't have to judge him morally to suggest that his actions show a terrible lack of judgement, as it would have been reasonable for him to foresee that some voters would not take kindly to what he did. Many of us wouldn't give a hoot if he privately conducted bizarre sex acts with himself in complete secrecy. But for many of us that feel that way, it's the lack of judgement in taking such a risk as he did that disqualifies him for office. And for many, many more, it is the morality behind it that disqualifies him. He won't survive (if he has not already dropped out before I read the news today).
So, yes he is a tool but really this wasn't a thread about Anthony Wiener, he is just an example of an interesting phenomenon where ppl are engaging in sexless "cheating" via the internet. It's almost an emotional affair but all you got is hot sexts with pics without the "oh i love you forever" texting with anticipation of cheating IRL. That's why his wife was able to forgive him, he didn't cross the traditional line of "it was just sex, just physical, I don't love her" Almost as if the guy got caught watching porn or being at a strip club and they lied to you about it.
So that's my question, what do you think about this new form of cheating? know of any other experiences?
