DECLINE??? lol

I don't think it's waste for me to PLAY or DATE anyone who has a connection to my job and that's why I told her I have to pass at this time because I am off the market. Plus the woman didn't give me any information about the person like how old she is, what she looks like, or her body size. So even if I was thinking about it I have no info anyway.

But is it always best to say no to this type of situation?

I wouldn't automatically decline without finding out more about the person.

Normally I say to keep options open, but this could be dangerous:

1) Your personal life could leak into your work life.

2) Women are usually horrible at setting people up, especially men. She's looking for a guy for her friend, what you want doesn't matter. And a lot of women resent it when you don't like who they want you to like.

If you are interested, yes, try and find out more about the woman before agreeing.

I said a coworker told me that a friend of hers is single and she mentioned my name because she thinks her friend would be attracted to me

Go back and tell your coworker that you're back on the market and you'll meet her friend. Then come back here and post a thread about the date.

Nope can't do it.

Just like it was another girl who wanted to come over my place but I found her mother is one of my clients. Which means I can date anyone who has a connection to my job

Oh. Well - who cares? Geez! I can't imagine a day in the life of WestPhillyDude...

"Can you believe that guy asked me if I wanted FRIES with that!!! If I had wanted fries, I would have ordered FRIES!!!"
"Can you believe the cab driver asked me where I was going! It's not any of his business where I'm going!"
"Can you believe that woman said excuse me when she bumped into me! The NERVE!"
