Have you ever had one? How did it happen and what effect did it have on your relationship with that person going forward? Did it make you question your sexual practices/partner selection in the future? Have you found sex to be more enjoyable with someone whom you knew couldn't contribute to the risk of getting pregnant? (IE vasectomy/tubal ligation/totally infertile)
Eh..my mom got pregnant with me while on the pill, my aunt got pregnant after having a tubal ligation and my cousin knocked a girl up after getting a vasectomy (yes, it's his, paternity tests were done).
Because of that, I think I have a pregnancy scare every month, even when I was on the pill. Pregnancy scares the ever loving bejeezus out of me and I think that's the biggest barrier I have with enjoying sex. I do enjoy it, don't get me wrong, but that nagging anxiety about pregnancy never quite leaves. Especially considering how many people I know whose boyfriends/husbands left them after finding out they were pregnant.

No affect, we were married.
I got my tubes tied and yes it was great not having to worry about pregnancy.

More along the lines of was there a tear in the condom/did you forget to take your BC pill/have unprotected sex while ovulating/have a ONS on impulse with someone you knew and trusted, but didn't use protection with.
Gone to several OBGYN's and no one will perform the surgery.
I have a tiny rod inserted into my arm, but if for some reason that failed, I would not even bat an eyelash about what to do from there...
