I didn't see it as funny either.

I saw it as 'Hey guys, my husband finds me highly annoying to watch tv with and would rather sit in a different room by himself rather than watch the game with me, isn't he a jerk?!?'

Hey, as long as you are truly okay with the trade off, whatever it is, that landed you with someone you describe as "absolutely no fun." It wouldn't work for me...a lighthearted, fun, non-brooding person who is joyful about the things we do together is essential.

My fiance likes having little watch parties with me even though she isn't a sports fanatic like me. I enjoy it. I'm the cook so healthy or not if I wanted wings they would happen.

I should have qualified the "absolutely no fun" to say he's not always that way. But he has been irritable a lot, recently.

Our marriage is fine; he's loving, supportive, etc. He's going through a bad spell, I guess. I know it sounds intolerable, but there's only so much I can do for him.

He didn't show this dark side until we'd been married for awhile. It's not me. It really is his issue.

Fortunately, I have plenty of friends, family, pets, and a good job. And this forum helps. Reading about a broad range of relationships, helps keep things in perspective.

Munchies and commercials are the best part. Sorry your husband is being a pill. I think you should make nachos too.

When your honeymoon is over, I hope your husband remains being a lot of fun, & very loving......

My wife offered to cook me whatever I want for the game, I just have to do the shopping first.

Our deep fryer has been broken for some time now, no wings for us this weekend.

You can also use a deep skillet, some oil, your favorite ingredients for a mix to dip your wings in, for frying, & a skillet lid or screen.

The deep skillet is also what we use for home made French fries......
