I like this answer. Also, some people can manipulate their way into relationships, rich or poor.

What are you supposed to do if you planned to go to law school and then it became too expensive so yu couldn't afford it? You planned and had ambition and worked hard. Now what?

Or if you have a profitable idea for a website and don't have the technical skills - most people don't - and can't afford to pay someone else to do the tech stuff?

Women with little money can get into relationships. Men with little money, on the other hand, are SOL.

Not always true. Men with little money or even no job can and do charm their way into women's lives and homes. It's a matter of being able to find the easy marks.

Now men with little money and no charm, yeah, they're pretty SOL.

At least you didn't bother saying that women's financial situations has any bearing on the relationships they can attain.

Eh, I had no idea how much money my recent ex made and the ex before that...well, I made around 3x more than he did and carried the household.

Not every woman demands a ton of (or even any) money. I just don't want to have to support a man again and want him to be successful enough to at least support himself. Apparently, that makes me a gold digger.
