I didn't have to ask because my husband is regularly tested as a condition of his employment. If he weren't clean, he wouldn't have his level of clearance or hold his position.

I am also curious as I have never heard of STD testing for a job outside the sex industry.

That's what I was thinking as well...not that there's anything wrong with it.

In my younger days, I would have loved to have been one, or maybe I was in some home videos............

(If your answer is "I don't insist on it but will do it upon request" please respond in comments if you don't mind - I didn't want this to be too long of a poll)

Edit:

This poll is not about the future, it is about your current history. It is about your last partner and previous, not what might happen in the future.

I.E. if a potential new partner wants to get a clear sense of your sexual history to assess his or her own risk level, and you are 100% honest, how would you answer the question "Have you always insisted on STD testing prior to sex with a new partner?"
So you are not able to tell your partner it is about time for the first sex or discuss any birth control but you are able to talk about STD's with him?

Hmmm.

The military keeps testing their people, if I remember right.

MEPS testing includes HIV and Hepatitis for all branches at a minimum from what I remember. You can request additional testing at any time.

Please take it to the other thread where I will be happy to discuss this with you. Otherwise I will not respond as I want this thread to stay on topic.
