He broke up with me.
He wants to stay friends.
He contacted me to return a small impersonal item.
He contacted me to tell me he finally did the thing I've asked of him that he wouldn't do during our relationship.
I removed social media.
I blocked chat features.
I deleted his number.
He texts asking what he did wrong.
I don't respond.
My heart breaks if he contacts me.
My heart breaks if he doesn't.
My heart breaks if I respond.
My heart breaks if I don't.
So hard. If it helps, I think what you are going through is a pretty universal experience. Most of us know what that feels like. And we survived it...it just takes time. It sucks to feel the way you are feeling. But it's ok to feel like that...you just need to understand that this is not your forever. Everyday sucky, painful day that passes is one day closer to you feeling like yourself again.
I compare love to an addiction....
Letting go of something or someone you're addicted to physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually
is much, much easier said than done...
Continuously & consciously get him out of your mind/heart/soul.....
