I think everyone, man and woman, should read this article.
It would sure help a lot of attitudes around here if it were taken to heart.
Mine included.
Its important as a woman to know and act in a way that is in line with your value. If you allow bs behavior from the start, it doesn't get any better. You are valuable, if he can't see that and treat you as if you are valuabe and desirable to him, then its better to be single until someone who is capable of that comes into your life.

I'd like to see this "flack". I'm pretty sure the PUA practitioners aren't insisting that you shouldn't work to improve yourself or that you shouldn't accomplish anything.

Wait...the pick up artists aren't insisting that you shouldn't work to improve yourself or not accomplish anything. Isn't this a double negative cancelling itself out?

I'd say it's pretty useless. Anybody with half a brain knows everything on it already, and (more importantly) anybody who doesn't isn't going to follow it or learn anything by reading it anyway. I could follow it up with a list like:

7 things women do that turn men off:

1) You have unrealistic expectations
2) You let romance novels warp your thinking
3) You don't quit
4) You put off sex for too long
5) You view sex as a prize to be given as a reward
6) You don't work to improve yourself
7) You've never accomplished anything

Boom. Hire me, "Good Men Project"! It's simple, mindless advice. They might as well have just said "don't be an ass". If I'm an ass, I'm not going to look at this list and think "wow, I shouldn't be an ass!". I'd just go on being an ass because, wait for it....that's one of the qualities of being an ass.

Yes, that's exactly what it is. I'm saying that they are not arguing the points in the post, as some posters might have you believe.

You'd think so, I know.

But in reality you'd be very surprised just how many guys don't know this information.

So, then with that logic, pua are insisting that you improve yourself and accomplish things.
