I tend to believe that everyone can bring something from their beliefs and others can learn from it.
They may not agree with it but they can at least learn something or see something they know from a different perspective.

I never intentionally offend anyone when it comes to their beliefs, when I ask a question I ask because I do not know the answer and I am sincerely interested in how other Religions/Denominations think about things.

This is such a basic concept, and I can't believe all of the horrific outcomes that come out of not accepting it.

Oh well, I guess we should head over to the Religion forum.... (not on your life - get it? lol).

I've struggled with this... I've read and studied eastern philosophies, I've contemplated what Jesus had to say... along with Mohamed... The Torah is good reading when you're constipated.

The point I'm making is that me and others, we have struggled with reliogion... people get stupid with what religion is and how it affects their lives.

In the simplest rawest form religion just means a way of dealing with your life.. a code of ethics or conduct as it were.

It sometimes means which story you believe...........

No, I don't want to offend anyone either. It's just funny how careful we have to be with our wording. I know you wouldn't do that, CSD.

And on a different note I have major heartburn, and I knew I was going to get it because I get it every time we/I have Tomato Soup.
I love the stuff but just cannot eat it without the heartburn.
