You haven't missed out on young love yet, OP. You're still young. Lose weight, get in shape, pull yourself together, and you'll feel better about everything.
Is not experiencing love at a young age really so sad?
What makes it sad is the fact that everything else is sad too. Sadness, emptiness, depression, stress, loneliness, inadequacy. I don't think I can really describe it to someone that hasn't felt like **** for a very extended amount of time.
I only experienced young infatuation which I, at the time, mistook for love. But the girls I was with didn't see me in the same way, so I never experienced a true, committed relationship until last year. This time the roles were reversed; she was certain she loved me, but I wasn't feeling it. So I ended it in early May. To recap, I feel like I missed out on young love and I'm still single and don't know what love is supposed to feel like.
