I only need one TO get married.

I have loads of reasons not to get married.

But if that one is strong enough, they all fall by the wayside.

I guess I misread the post I responded to, or I inserted words I assumed were there.

Hilarious.

And for the record, while she's one of my favorite people and someone who I truly enjoy spending time with, she's not my best friend; that person is way more accepting of my foibles and doesn't complain about chores not getting done.
Truth.

The list was written by a girl or an evangelical Christian.

Sweet!!

Sorry. I couldn't read that list. Hurt my eyes too much. Makes it sound like I just got off the Mayflower, and some guy wants to build a cabin and roll out a list of 15 reasons.. ew.

Many of those things can be accomplished without getting married. I can honestly see getting married if kids are planned. If not, I personally don't think it's all that important.

There are very, very few good reasons for a man to get married (or even really commit to an exclusive relationship, for that matter) in this day and age, and they are declining by the day.
I agree.

I think marriage is pointless/unnecessary UNLESS you have kids.
Kids need stability, reliability, and security.
None of these is guaranteed with marriage, but a lot more likely.
