Dude, we're the same age and I don't have any issues with that, given that it is meaningful sex. And being a 36 year old virgin I have more moral standing to judge than most who do judge.
He looks good for 57, not great but good. I'd say he looks 50. Evidently he was quite attractive when he was younger (looking at older pics of him as I have no idea who he is). She is attractive, a character actor at best by hollywood standards, but a 7 in the real world. She looks older than 18. The spotlight could be a major factor in this pairing.
I myself prefer older men, but I wouldn't even go for someone that old. I'm 26 and and my boyfriend is 41, but it doesn't look weird at all... The girl also looks younger than 18, so it makes it look kind of creepy.
He's old enough to be her grandfather... I personally could not date anyone older than my parents (44, and 51) but at my age I wouldn't even feel comfortable dating someone 10 years my senior. I work with older people on a daily basis and while I will say many are quite charming and posses a great wealth of knowledge, the generational gap would still be too much to overcome. Not to mention, assuming no tragic accidents shorten either's life, with a 39 year age difference he's likely going to die quite earlier than her, leaving her widowed and any children fatherless, too much for me to deal with.
I'm often skeptical of these things, because the woman rarely looks as young as she claims. Courtney Stoddard does NOT look like she is as young as she says. It all seems like a publicity stunt. But hey, if she is 18 then who cares? People can date whomever they want.
