Yeah I talked to her at her house just last night (...yet again, lol), and we discussed the whole "intimacy". She was evidently ok with it, and she felt the same way I did initially (awkward, etc). Now though we've brushed that off and looks like we're starting here as gf/bf

All we know is, he was a jerk, and was verbally abusive to her. Based on that (as far as we know. There might have been antecedents), she broke up with him. Then, after the breakup (according to the OP), she sought out her best friend. Maybe we should take a poll to see how many people see a problem there. I don't.
