I think a lot of people think they are being hit on when someone just says "hi"

I know I hit on you all the time.

And you think;"Omg this big chick is hitting on me again."

So wish that jay jay would hit on me with her skin tone yoga pants.

Let's be real: you like the attention and came here to tell us how much attention you get. If you didn't get hit on at all it would upset you. You will deny this but deep you know it's true.

True.

I never know what other people interpret as being "hit on"

If I get hit on, it's usually a direct comment to me that lets me know I am, i.e. the other night when I was walking to class a guy in his car yelled, "d*** ma you sexy as f***". When a guy says hi, I just think he's saying hi unless he's giving me the look.

I'm assuming that the OP knew she was being hit on and that it was more than a "hi".

Some people seem to not have any respect. Who would even dare to hit on a woman when she's out running errands with her toddler boy?! Are people THAT desperate?

I have a husband, so I have someone taking care of my needs.
The less you respond, the quicker they will disappear. The more you say ANYTHING the more you are inviting trouble.

Sad.

Ah well, what are you going to do? Wear a huge sign that says "don't hit on me?" I guess that's what rings are for. Just flash your ring then. Or wear it on your forehead.

Because one poster represents the majority, right?

There's that possibility.

I wonder the same about these kinds of threads "Men always hit on me I am upset...Why am I so hot?...Many guys propose marriage to me...". It seems CD is full of hot sexy female posters in perfect shape.
