Hahaha! Hey man, move to Japan then. On Valentine's Day it is the girls who take out the guys, send a gift to their office (chocolate, stuffed animal, etc.), take him out for dinner, etc. Then on March 14th it is the guys who do it for the girls. It's called White Day. It looks pretty balanced unlike what I remember seeing when I lived in the USA where most, if not all, ads and commercials focus on what romantic gesture guys could do for their woman or what they can buy them. Nothing wrong with that, its just a different culture I guess and that's how people like it differently depending on their culture.
I am seeing posts in social media from American friends and yeah. Just like past years I see women posting all the flowers they got, the jewelry they gave them, where they were taken out for dinner, one even got a car. While men share what they did for their woman. Each culture does as they traditionally do.
