Man, I could use some Jameson. Haven't had any in awhile.
Reminds me of a woman I met at a bar once. I was waiting on my drink and she ordered Jameson neat, and I said, "must've been a long week" and she said, "you have no idea". I just smiled, got my drink, and said "enjoy your evening" and left.
Sometimes, you just need whiskey.

That was my week. I think there is some on my agenda for the night. Get into the right frame of mind for the upcoming week.
Went and set some stuff up for my dad so he can get around easier. Then hauled my big mower back. Thinking I will work some overtime this week.
LOL, sounds like a perfect day to go outside. That's typical A/C vent temp in the US.
In NYC, 57 is a very warm winter day. If it were sunny, I'd most probably wear T shirt and jeans.
57 down here is freezing. I'd have jeans and boots on with a sweater in that weather...lol

Thought of making my way to Kannapolis to capture some dark horses, but its just too hot.
We've had storms just about every evening for as long as I can remember. It's the rainy season here...everyday between 4-8pm we get a good soaking. You would think my grass would be lush and green, but it's not.
It will be 85 and a bit dryer in late Sept/Oct.
Just took my youngest to the doc and had to get his Rx's filled for school (Epi-pen and inhaler). I need 2 packs of the Epi...one for school and one for home. Can I just say our insurance sucks.
They are going to cost me over $900. I don't know, I think that's ridiculous. It's not like we can say "eh, we don't need it".
It's a "high deductible" plan so they cover well visits, but we pay out of pocket for everything else until we get to $3400. At that time, they will pay 80%. This is in addition to the $250 a month it costs to keep the plan.

That is all that is wrong with healthcare around here. The solution the government put forth is no solution.
With my dad the prescription for $400 had to be paid out of pocket. My sister in law called wondering if he should get the expensive one, yes. We ponied up. He finally met his deductible. Not bad for being 81.
It costs me $100 to get my prescription filled. That's just for one medicine.

My Rx is cheap...$12 a month (Naturethroid, I think). When I was on Synthroid it was $40 a month. My insurance is more affordable than my husbands though. On his I'd pay out of pocket for all of it. If I put my kids on mine, it goes from $16 a month to $550 a month, so most of the time it's cheaper for him to carry them.
Not this year though. One of my boys is going for a heart study and has to wear a montior for 48 hours, I'm sure they'll charge us out the nose for that. Then we have the Epi-pens and asthma meds...and I'm sure at that point we'll hit our deductible.
10 years ago I was blowing through my deductible like Charlie Sheen went through cocaine. I managed to cover most of my doctoring in a right under a years time.

I imagine!
Last year was the first time we didn't hit it (though we have only had this crappy insurance for 3yrs...before that our deductible was only $500-800). We will definitely hit it this year though. Bad timing as it seems that most of our big expenses hit in the beginning of August, when we don't have my paycheck to supplement.
The only thing that really changed for us is we no longer have $0 co-pays for the kids, and now have double co-pay for specialists. We'll be out a few hundred dollars in co-pays by the end of summer
I should schedule an appointment one of these days.
