The southwest is fine with me, I don't have much desire to travel down south and the Midwest doesn't hold much interest for me either.

There is a thread in the LA forum and someone is basically trying to give the hard sell of how the Midwest is better than southern California.....

I think the only thing it has over here is the family values vibe seems to be better, better to raise a family and all.... but since we're past that point in our lives, it doesn't really apply to us.

I think I like the idea of RV retirement more than the reality, but it does sound like fun. It was never my plan to grow on my back in the 'burbs, so it would be a really nice change of pace to not be tied to one spot for once.

I keep sort of thinking the same thing, that the idea of RV living sounds good, but IDK.... I wonder if Mrs. Chow and I would be at each others throats with that little space between us....

Yeah, the Mr. would hate the RV because he is so much more sociable than I am; we'd be like George Costanza's parents.

Get a big enough RV. Each can have a corner for solitude.
