Saw the new doctor today, got all new prescriptions, added one medication, got the order for the aquatic physical therapy, will be going tomorrow to get my drivers license transferred from Iowa, will be hanging up my cane Saturday, had blood taken today, getting a referral for a liver specialists and have an appointment next week for follow up.

In many instances using a cane or a walking stick is like having an extra leg. It is much better using one then taking the chance of falling, especially if noone else will be around. I hike in the mountain wilderness, therefore i bring a walking stick, & a cell phone for emergencies. I sometimes use a cane when it's wet, or icy, or snow on the ground, making it slippery.
