kinda based on the what 5 things must they have, what are some things they cant have?
and, because I must add a poll to everything, how about, hmmmm, looks and smarts?
if a person could only have looks and smarts that add up to 10, in any combination, what would you want it to be?
looks
0 = elephant man/woman, 5 = avg, 10 = supermodel (or your idea of perfection)
smarts
0 = broccoli, 5 = avg, 10 = Stephen Hawking/Marilyn Vos Savant
and for me, some dealbreakers are
smoker
druggie
alcoholic
a mean person
someone with too many mental issues
too much cushion
militant vegan
prude!!!
wants to move somewhere freezing
has a thick mustache. sorry, thats just ewwwwwwww
gold digger
dang,theres alot!!!

I've never been good at rating people's looks on a scale of one to ten. Is a 5 a very plain looking person? Intelligence is very very important to me, but he still needs to be a kind hearted person, an active human being with feelings and not lost in his brainy world.
Cigarette smoking is deal breaker, as is being too religious, wanting kids, drinking too much alcohol, taking drugs, and being too attached to his family and friends. I don't want to be having dinner with his family once a week. I want him to have his family and his friends, but there has to be moderation. And I want to be his best friend, not in a forced way, but we have to naturally click like that. I wouldn't try to change him, but would just not pursue a relationship with the wrong kind of guy.
I can't honestly answer your poll. I would not settle for someone who is ugly but smart, or smokin' hot but a complete dolt. Why can't there be a category for someone who is both smart AND gorgeous???
