This morning me and my girlfriend were talking about how i usually don't use a wallet and she said..you are so weird.
We continued talking about other stuff and she said you are so goofy and laughed.
I replied please don't call me weird or goofy,i don't like that. She said don't be so sensitive. I'm just teasing you. That's how i am. You should know this by now.
I just don't like being called goofy or weird because it makes me think the girl sees me as a friend or is starting to lose interest in me

Just this morning I was in the elevator on the way to work with my hubby and he said something...it was funny but odd...I told him "You know your weird, right?".
He smiled and quipped back, "You know you made me this way, right?"
We got a chuckle out of it. You are making too much of this....and I find it hard to believe your not overly sensitive. How does your GF take it when you good naturedly tease her?
You should probably worry less about what random "girls" prefer and concentrate on the woman in front of you who already likes you as is. She feels comfortable enough to joke around with you, and you reacted humorlessly and insecurely. You haven't really ruined anything.
If you are goofy and still gettin a little sumthin-sumthin on a regular basis and you want to avoid callouses on your hand, apologize and realize how great you have it!

actually you ARE a little weird and goofy, the truth is that we ALL are a little weird and goofy to others at times. grow a thicker skin.

girls like who they like and what they like, just like everyone else. some girls like their men more manly for sure, others dont. do not paint women with the same brush. you have to be who you are in life, and you have to be happy with who you are in life. do not change who you are for anyone, otherwise you will end up being miserable and not knowing who you are as a person.
Calling one weird or goofy doesn't mean one thinks of them as a friend. If she said this lightly, you overreacted. I've been married for over 30 years. I call my husband a "goof" or "weird" at times in an affectionate, joking way. He does the same.
