Whenever the topic comes up of where to "meet your mate", there's always a reply to say, "anywhere! Grocery stores!"
Let me prelude with this: Assuming you shop twice per week (once for groceries, another time for misc supplies)
That is 104 trips to the grocery store per year.
So ladies and gents, in the past year, how many times has the member of the opposite sex asked you, or you asked out on a date via grocery store?
If you were really lucky and got 3 dates from grocery shopping....
That is still a horrible 3% rate of "success"
It really depends on the woman and men.
I would say the succession rate of any format is quite low weather your online dating or out there its all about finding the right person with a bit of luck. You need persistance to meet any men/women
I hate relying on luck to meet women
I see plenty of dudes at the store who, if I was single, I wouldn't hesitate to approach. Whether it would actually get me some action is a whole other story, though.
Me personally, no, never met anyone. But I am not into asking random strangers out for dates (I have flirted before in a grocery store, but never anything more than just friendly, flirting).
But funny thing, a grocery store near me actually hosted a speed dating event on Valentines Day!

Same here.
I always seem to have some kind of conversation at the grocery store too. It's really easy to chat people up at the store for some reason.
Especially in the evening, when supermarkets are usually more quiet and relaxed.
