When I'm not dating anybody, I'm completely single. I'm not even talking to or flirting with anybody. I lose the desire for the opposite sex and when I go out, I just go out to hang out with my friends. Not looking at all. But once a guy pops in my life, I have this desire to date around again and be on the hunt. Does this happen to anybody else? You're either dating more than 1 person or nobody at all. I'm wondering if this is a defense mechanism so I don't get hung up on one person.
Age doesn't really matter. It may be that you are not ready for a committed relationship so you want to date around. Nothing wrong with that and actually it is good to do that rather than be like others who get "committed" to one and then mess around on them.
