actually the average duration for intercourse is supposed to be 3-7 minutes and some do not even last 1-2 minutes...so when people claim they are having sex for 3 hours I find that ridiculous. I believe I even read in a medical article that a man is supposed to be erect only for 30-40 minutes maximum at a time otherwise it puts strain on the part due to the blood pressure inside it...so yes, 3 hours would not only be very abnormal it would be dangerous.

Foreplay, during play, after play, between play...I have had, in my younger days, guys who would pound away doing the PIV thing for hours, and that got tedious, boring, and uncomfortable. I find that more than half an hour straight of that act itself, is just not fun anymore, no matter how big or small, and no matter what kind of awesome "moves" a guy thinks he has, and no matter how much we are into each other.
I'm thinking of the Chappelle Show and that sketch where the woman has a sign that says, "WRAP IT UP." And I HATE it when guys deliberately break rhythm to control themselves, and keep going longer. 10-20 minutes, is fantastic.
However, I very much enjoy hours and hours of "sex" with a lover. I don't like to just say "foreplay" because the best have done stuff before, between sessions, and after. And our activities are way too intense and awesome to be considered a mere appetizer with PIV as the main course. It's more like an ongoing sexual buffet...

I think a lot of men learn their "tricks" from porn. Porn is notoriously geared toward men, for the most part. So most foreplay in porn is some chick orally working on a guy and then viola, it's log jamming time and money shots for the finale.

When I use the meds that I have been prescribed following my prostate cancer surgery, erections last greater than 4 hours.
Not talking about the actual duration of sex obviously. Just how long the meds make erections to last.
Amen.... a man has to make love to his wife/love her three or four times in order to last 3 hours , and it's certainly is not non stop PIV there's a lot of fore & afterplay to.
