I think you should be worried about something way more important: the psychological drug dependency.
Men who take Viagra, Cialis, or Levitra for longer and larger erections may find that they actually develop erectile dysfunction without the drugs. This could mean having to use more aggressive treatments like injections or implants to treat ED in the future
Also men who use Viagra recreationally often find that they develop a tolerance to the drug, and require larger doses to achieve the same effects. Obviously, this increases the risk of side effects from the medication.
Not to mention long term effects such as blue-tinged vision, heart problems and hearing loss.

that doesn't sound like a drug Id ever want to take.
I have had prostate cancer [this afternoon is my 1-year post-cancer check-up with my surgeon]. I have to use an injection. It works fine, but there is a lot more prep to using an injection then there is for a simple pill.
On the other hand, the 'salute's now last 4+ hours.
Oh you poor dear. If you are having such severe erectile dysfunction at your age I would put it down to psychological issues. Have you seen a therapist?
I'd have a problem with a nonstop 3-hour PIV session. I prefer shorter sessions of that broken up by other forms of activity. I would very much prefer a man who could only last 10 minutes, to one who goes and goes for 3 hours, as long as he understands that there's much more to sex than getting his rocks off and assuming I did at some point during the process.
I'd also have a problem with someone who did not NEED such a pill taking it just to enhance performance. I do not take pharma lightly, and I don't think that others should either. I would not appreciate the cavalier acceptance of using a prescription drug recreationally.
That said, if I were with an older gentleman or one who had some ED issues (which in fact, I am) I wouldn't judge them for it, I'd do everything in my power to work through it with them, and if we tried all sorts of things and the issue persisted, then should he decide to "talk to his Doctor about Viagra" then so long as he was being mindful of possible interactions and side effects and using it properly under a Doc's advisement, hey...why would I judge that?
And in my experiences, the issue with loves who have some kind of ED (my opinion) is the same issue some ladies who have a difficult time getting a finish, I wish to know that my partner is getting the same kind of pleasure from our fun that I am. I know it's not necessarily me, it's them, but I still wish that they'd get theirs.
But another lesson learned in the last year, so long as the woman doesn't have difficulties (since we are all different) a skilled lover can put her over the moon without even taking off his pants.
