My partner is 14+ years younger than me. We have been together for over 15 years. It just happened....we were not looking for anyone with that much age difference.
I know it would not work for many people, but it works for us. Him: old for his age, Me: young for my age.
I prefer men age 45-55. That is what I look for, were I looking.
The people in my poly group/relationships I am in right now:
Male age 39
Female age 42
Male age 41
Male age 53
...and me.
I actually feel the closest to the oldest one in some ways, and he is the oldest man I've been in a relationship with as well as the biggest age gap.
I would not date younger men, and am unlikely to date in the neighborhood of my own age. With women, I rarely find the right connection for me to want to be with them romantically, but when I do I treasure it and age isn't a factor. I don't seek them...that magic either happens or it don't.
To me, he looks like a 40 years old dad with belly and she like a 20 years old (and actually they are 38 and 20).
