I'm 25 and never had sex. Long story short: major trust issues, short temper and anxiety. Tried to kill myself while in college and I still take meds.
Average looks, regular body even though I work out twice or three times a week. I'm currently in a very demanding trainee programme in a major energy company and I'm really tired when I get home. That's exactly when my sex drive is higher.
I started looking at escort ads about 3 years ago but never acted on it. If I like one of the women, I look at the pictures over and over again. It's the first thing I do when I get home. But then it's so expensive I eventually give up on the idea (we're not talking about random, low class prostitutes, you have to pay well for these). I think how many other things I want to buy, that I want to save for that trip abroad, etc.
Is this bad? I thought this would go away but it hasn't.
Believe me, I was very resistant to taking meds and tried everything before I decided to take them. I've already done therapy for 2 years, no results. I took up sports (and I still exercise). It helped just a little bit. I even tried meditation. Nothing would ever work.
It's something that comes from the inside and no amount of good will, therapy or other "natural" methods will work.
I don't know about the causes but yes my family was pretty messed up while growing up, even though it appeared normal to the outside world.
Try reading "Awaken the Giant Within" It works for a lot of people. I have recommended to a few people online and they told me they are getting results. It does take it but it works.
The local police use it ALL the time for prostitution stings.
Of all the "bad" things that I've seen or heard, walking into a police sting ranks relatively low on the concerned list... both for the working girl and customer. Its a sad state of this stuff... mostly because the criminals know that all parties are operating outside legal protections.
I support sex worker rights, but this level of prostitution is the type that most concerns me.... lack of protections for those that simply trying to make a living and trying to get off.

That's the point, OP. Your "from the inside" tape needs re-programming. It got some negative, and apparently fearful, programming from your family environment from a tender age. You need help creating your own positive, safe, loving tape. You can do this, OP. It just takes finding the right therapist. Maybe you didn't know there were those who specialize in exactly your type of situation, and have innovative methods to get to the bottom of things, and help you throw out the old, negative cr@p, and substitute it with mellow, positive energy. No pill can do that. The meds can only mask the symptoms.
OP is asking if it's bad to look at escort ads and perhaps the thought of acting on them?
Asking forum members here on CD, a large majority which views males who have ever used escorts/prostitutes as the scum of the earth?
That's like going to a Trump rally and asking supporters if they would vote for Hillary Clinton.
