I think he was negging himself. A 40-year-old guy whose preference is a wife in her mid 20s? That is pretty weird. Does he want to have a dozen kids and needs a young broodmare or something?
LOL. My father was 40-something when he married my 20-something mother. Of course, the marriage was a disaster.
Was he saying that he's too old to marry you? But you're around the same age. I don't get it.
I think maybe just that he no longer considers marriage an option? Which is fine by me! I agree - we are both way too set in our ways.
As W4L noted, it was just struck me as some really weird pillowtalk. Kinda took me out of the moment. I think he meant it as a compliment, but I was really confused with regard to what he was talking about, and kind of irked that he might think I was trying to, I dunno, honey trap him or something.
your friend with benefits tells you - in the middle of sex - that he'd marry you if he were 15 years younger? It was kinda weird - I reminded him that at 40 I was not exactly looking to put my trousseau together.
It means it's more than what you think it is (to him) and only age is separating you being "worth" more than a casual dick wagging.
I can't answer his personal reasoning for addressing this to you since I can only speculate until the sun comes up and back again not actually being the person from which it spawned from.
I can tell you if this is bothering you, you should address it with him as to not create something unintentionally that could end in negative bias towards on another.
Leaving things unsaid that affect your feelings towards the situation or person your involving yourself with can only create harder to understand and dissect issues later down the road.

It's not all that abnormal if guy is deemed attractive and keeps himself in shape. Even more so if he has a little walking around money in his pocket. Some younger women truly do like an older man that has his life in order. I've seen it most with the younger women who could have any guy they wanted, but they just were never attracted to men their own age. Age is just a number if you live a lifestyle that keeps you feeling young.
We are not talking about younger women wanting older men. We are talking about a 40 year old guy expressing a preference for an imaginary WIFE (not a **** buddy, not a date, a WIFE) who is barely out of college.
God, I hope you're right. Basically, the best I've ever had.
There's a saying in my house that "Nothing counts before coffee." Ignore any offhand grumble in the wee hours. I think we can safely expand that to "Nothing counts in the throes of orgasm." I started weeping once, for Pete's sake. If he starts acting weird or extra moonish when you're not in bed, be wary. Great sex will spark some very intense feelings of closeness and tenderness ... it's natural.

He said if HE were 15 years younger, though, right, not if SHE were?
Or am I misreading?
