How do you feel about your significant other having a surrogate girl friend or boy friend?

Uhh...no. If I'm in a relationship with someone, he should be able to get any emotional support, etc from ME. That's one of the best parts of a relationship to me. Just having someone who will hold you and listen to you and be there for you.

You can get sex anywhere. ^^^ This part above part is harder to find. I hope I'm understanding what u mean by surrogate partner. I take that as someone being there in every way except physical? And yes..why wouldn't those just be FRIENDS...just not so close that it makes eyebrows raise

I have been reading about this on the internet.

Basically someone of the opposite sex whom you are friends with but that person secretly wants to date you, and they arrange so called "dates" hoping to win you over.

Yes...

Someone who is there for you emotionally.

And the one who is getting the emotional support from their opposite sex friend is hoping that the two of you will become a couple.

Then if other people notice that person's behavior, their eyebrows raise.
