I couldn't find a Dating forum, this is the next closest forum. So I have a profile on a hookup site similar to Tinder and POF. On POF/Tinder I get maybe 1-2 messages a month. On this hookup site I am getting 2-3 messages a day and tons of chat requests. Just now was logged in for about 30-60 minutes and had 5 different chat requests. Thought I would share the lines I am getting just for laughs. This is through a chat/instant message feature on the site. These are lines coming from women since I am a man.

The pictures that I have posted on both sites are the same including my profile pic here, I don't put nude pictures of myself online. So my question is why am I literally getting 10 times the attention on a hookup site compared to a dating site where I state I am looking for a relationship? This hookup site was an experiment for me and an eye opening one at that. Not judging here, just genuinely curious. I like the attention, who wouldn't? Just baffling to me why I'm getting it on a hookup site and little to none on a relationship site. Men are visual, we like pictures. Women seem to be much more into fantasy sexting and chats then men are. Personally I find that sexting is a waste of time, I would rather go out on dates and meet people.
I'm thinking profile picture is that of a person someone (namely the person who posted this thread) is ticked off at....
The more sites they post his goofy picture on, with stupid stuff attached, the more chance of someone getting in touch with the real guy and humiliating him.
2. For those that actually AREN'T bots, is it really so surprising that people put less thought into casual hookups than things they see as a potential relationship with an actual future? Nope. Not at all. People are often less discerning about things that are, by design, very, very short-term.
