Ok what do people mean when they say you are trying too hard when it comes to relationships ?

That was trying to hard to make something out of nothing.

Means you're trying to make it work by being both people in the relationship when the other person doesn't even care. You're running around doing everything, planning everything, always thinking about it and trying to "make it work" and the other person doesn't even notice because they aren't as into you as you are into them.

You're trying to whip up a relationship where none exists - kinda like trying to whip skim milk! You can keep trying, but it'll never amount to anything.
