In your opinion, how long is too long to wait between your first and second date, if the first date was rather good and you hit it off?

Why wait if you had a good first date?

Hmmm...I think for me it would be like: Oh, we had such a great time Saturday, let's get together again next Saturday, OR, hey, we should grab a coffee during the week.

I would say...a week or less if you really hit it off.

Obviously this will depend upon schedules, your and her personality/styles and the like, but for me, with real interest, we usually wanted to see each other pretty quickly after a great date.

First date with my now-husband ended with him asking me if I'd like to do dinner the next night.

Whenever you feel like to see that person again.
It could be the next day or next weekend. Depends on your and her schedule, distance and many more circumstances.
Just keep in touch. Moderately...
You should inquire at least day or two after first date about the options.

Glad I could help.

The question was pretty vague, and childish, so I didn't really know how to answer.

I thought any reasonable adult would realize that it was pretty dependent on the specific individuals and their schedules.

Call in a few days, then try to plan something for the following weekend.
