At work this girl was talking to another co worker on the phone while next to us and then said "I love you good bye" at the end and we all heard and supposedly it was an accident. They are both married. What are the odds this was really an accident or that she just slipped up and revealed their relationship. Do people accidentally say thinks like that? Its pretty funny if it was a mistake but awkward for us if not.

It happens sometimes. It's happened to me before, with a client. He just said, "Love you too! hahahahaha!" and I was mortified and we moved on.
Are they friends as well as coworkers? Perhaps she's just a person who likes to communicate her feelings...you CAN love someone of the same sex you know...in a platonic way.
You really don't know if people actually say: "love you, bye" at the end of phone conversations?
Yeah. They do.
A lady I work with accidentally said it at the end of her conversation to someone she didn't intend it for. She was so embarrassed! To try to make her feel better, on my way out of the office I waved to everyone who said good bye and said "love you, bye!" It was fun for me, I don't think its a big deal. It's nice when someone you love says it though.

Yep, sometimes it is just a slip of the tongue. I've heard from colleagues that they'll sometimes get a "thanks, mom/dad" from interns and younger employees. Everyone's embarrassed for a second, everyone moves on.
Weird coincidence that this was said this morning by a client to the woman who sits next to me. He said it, there was a pause, and then he quickly hung up. Ish happens.

Oh, hell, I've done this with my kids' teachers, LOL! Just once or twice in 30 years but seriously, I recall having done this.
We tend to say "I love you" after speaking with those we love and since we know them well, the conversation follows a certain pattern...so when you know someone else well the same thing can slip out, from habit of the pattern of the conversation. It's rare but it can for sure happen.

How did she react afterward?
Ha ha, one time I was speaking with a client who was really brusque and honestly kind of scared me/made me nervous...so I was scheduling something to ship for him and I bubbled cheerily and nervously, "Great, so I'll call you and let you know when we can get it on." I meant to say, "When we can get it out." (As in out the door.)
Frozen dead silence, while I died.
Come on, dude, wherever you are today, I'm sure that's the most even implied action you got that year given your lack of an appealing personality...have a heart...coulda at least laughed lightly.
