I didn't read everything here, but wondering does the OP want dates or a special one date to stay with for however long or just what intentions does he want.

I don't know where else to like meet girls though. I'm joining clubs on meetup, but I don't want to be hitting on anyone from there. Hitting on random girls on the street is kinda weird too. How do you guys find girls outside of that?
I've been reading articles that say that millennials (and younger) are getting tired of dating apps and are starting to go back to the traditional means of meeting people for dating. I'm so happy to hear this. Maybe this will spark more and more events to be planned. I think it will. Humans are innovative.

Thus the Meetups.

I don’t see what all the fuss is about, meeting women seems simple enough to me, and I’m not even looking.
Of course it could be that 3000 miles across the pond, it’s a whole different ballgame, different strokes for different folks.
I’m married to a raving redheaded whack job, that I have no intention of losing, but when I go out with the guys, I can flirt for England, but that’s it, I’ll flirt, and then grab a cab home, end of story.
We use a couple of bars around the south side of London and Tower Bridges, on a Friday evening the office girls pour in, in twos, threes, fours, or more, buy a few bottles of wine, and get the weekend started.
It’s very easy, and I’m not getting any younger, but I dress reasonably well, if casually, always have a clean shirt, smell nice, and wear maybe blue jeans or chinos.
You’ll start to notice if you catch her eye, that some 30 something is giving you a dimly lit green light as you look around while talking with the guys.
On the way to the bar, you can casually put a hand lightly on her arm, and say “excuse me” as you go by, if she’s interested, she’ll flash her pearly whites, then on the way back, say something dumb but innocent, “You again! People will talk!”
Unless you’re a total loser, you can parlay that into a conversation, I have a few words, then shrug, and say, “Nice talking to you, gotta go, or she'll give my dinner to the dog.”
When I was single, it was so easy, although I wouldn’t have given James Franco sleepless nights, I had, and still have more confidence than you can shake a stick at.
