Soul mate means that there is exactly one person on this planet for you and you're both perfectly compatible. That's a fairy tale and does not exist. Can you meet someone who you love dearly and get along with great? Sure. But to say there is only one of those people out of 8 billion people is not reality.
Soul mate merely means someone who is very compatible both physically and personality wise. Of course it can exist as either sex. I don't think soul mates should be only a romantic partner.
The concept of the Soulmate is a romantic fantasy.
Nothing else.
A more realistic definition indeed. How many people end up talking about their soulmates and professing their love to each other too much that it later on ends up in a break-up? Time wasted for nothing
l believe it and l've seen it too and yeah you bet it is very possible if you've been blessed enough to find it. Bc in any real and true sense , of course it's also very very rare.
Unfortunately it didn't work out in my case bc of circumstances but l do know of a couple still married 35yrs now and if there ever were true soul mates then these two are it.
Strangely to that it wasn't all smooth sailing to begin with they were 2000k apart for 4yrs with really clashing circumstances that made any future look impossible. ln a forum now people would be screaming next next next. But they persisted and never gave up, eventually worked it out and they've been enviously married ever since.
