If you and her have mutual friends why not plan a group hang out and then you can talk to her and see where things go.



I worked in healthcare for years in various roles and thats all you see is co workers dating or hooking up. If your mature about it and keep it desecrate then it should be fine.

an old saying and some newer come to mind:

"Never dip your pen in the company ink well"

"Don't put your USB drive in your work computer"

"Don't slip your dongle into your coworker's port"

First, even asking her out, if she is not interested, may be taken as sexual harassment and a complaint could be filed against you, jeopardizing your job.

Just imagine for a moment, that you end up dating and there is a nasty break-up, she gets pregnant, or you get caught being affectionate at the office. These situations almost never end well. Where I work (2,200 employees) there is one couple that met here and ended up getting married, but they are not only in different departments, but at different work locations.
