I have it on authority from several different sources (all of whom I would consider "nice guys") that men aren't really interested in female friends.
It is interesting. I would first get to know guys (grade school, college, post-grad, now) because I am interested in sports and cars and drink beer...and I would have a lot of male "friends," but they would inevitably all make a move sooner or later. Some even took years, but they would make that move eventually. That hurt, because I really thought they were my friends.
To be friends only with an attractive woman can be accomplished, but make no doubt about it, as a male you are fighting your own gentic code to be successful at this.

Maybe you should really take it as a compliment. Most guys would kill to have a girlfriend that likes sports, cars and drinks beer. You are a rarity and the kind of woman that most men would love to have as their girlfriend or wife.
Ive learned many times over, that just staying friends works out better than letting all that emotional stuff get in the way and spoil a good friendship. Sadly, many people (women included) dont see it that way.
Yes, there can be. I'm very sorry that you have no male friends. Maybe they are harder to find in China since there is a lot of male chauvinism there.
Thanks Miu. Yes..it is harder to find some very close male friends here. I do have a couple of them which i call "friends". but I mean the real friends is that you can talk about everything and can share things with .just like you have a great female friends. So far i haven't find one really close male friends to last long friendship. You know the thing is that there is turn more than friendship if you get so close to them. what's happened to the end is that you have to end of this friendship..
But i do wish I can find such a guy to become real good friends. there are still got some nice guys in China. just got no luck to meet with.
