I wish more people would consider temporary tattoos rather than getting something put on permanently. It'd be more like how makeup is, to be worn when appropriate and taken off when the event is over.
My boyfriend's Chinese friend has an ice hockey player silhouette tattooed on one of his shoulder blades (he loves playing ice hockey). But in the four plus years that I've known him, we've never even seen it as he's never shirtless. So he's gotten tired of the hockey player and now wants some tattoo artist to make it into a dragon.

Imagine the hard time those who like names tattooed have...
I agree that I think more people should get temporary tattoos. I know I railed against tattoos earlier in this post, but I did once get a henna tattoo around my wrist, kind of a Moroccan design about 3/4 inch wide all the way around my wrist. It was gorgeous and lasted about 2-3 weeks. If I were ever to get a tattoo (which my hubby would flip out in a not-so-good way,) I'd get one that looked like a temporary henna tattoo around my wrist, just like that one.
I hate tattoos. I think they're tacky. Only my opinion, of course. If people want tattoos, it's their choice. Knock yourself out.
My brother has a couple tattoos. They look really ridiculous. lol My dad had one also. One of my husband's sisters has a tramp stamp. I was shocked when she bent over one day and there it was. She never seemed like the type who would get a tattoo. Especially there. I didn't say anything to her though.
Tattoos look dirty and give a message of "bad girl" (or boy). In that way they can be kinda sexy....but very skanky, too. When I was single I wouldn't mind casually dating and sleeping with a woman that had prominent tattoos but, frankly, I don't think I ever would have been in a long-term relationship or married such a woman. Far too low-rent looking for my taste.
I got a small tramp stamp 10 years ago, before they were even called tramp stamps. It was an impulse thing and I regret it, not because of where it is but because I really don't like the design anymore.
I think girls can look nice with tats. I think this girl is gorgeous -
Especially for ya, sweets! You know I luv ya, but not really... The topic just came up on another thread.
