Too bad that alcohol absorbs into your bloodstream at the same rate; whether there is food in your stomach or not.

I've brought this question up quite a few times and the overwhelming response was that women do not want to appear to be pigs, so they eat sparingly.

You don't want to eat because it'll give you bad breathe? Oh please. That is one lame excuse. Do what guys do and pop a breathe mint on the way home.

The one about food in the teeth.........uh, yeah, that is what the bathroom mirror is for.

This thread is hilarious.

In my early 20s, I typically wouldn't eat much because I would be nervous.

But now I don't really care! I love garlic and onions and salads and green curry ... and I'll eat it on a date; I just figure it will weed out the guys.

I was working in my university writing center as a tutor, and one of the other male tutors asked me out of the blue, "are you a meat and potatoes kind of girl?" Umm ... that was an interesting line. But, yes, I'd eat steak on a date! Just don't take me to seafood -- I hate it!

*sigh*

Ya know...for weeks now I've seen this topic on the list, and always read it as

"Why Don't Girls Eat Dates?"

...I figured it was just another weird female food preference question...

What a great idea! Me likie this item on the menu! Chewing them up and spitting them out sounds even more appetizing than eating them!

Oh, no! You've corrupted Tony the Tiger? Just when I thought one hero in life would maintain his high standards .... Sniff. I'm going to go drown my sorrows in a hamburger and fine champagne.

Aww. Why did you have to tell everyone that? I mean, that was our little secret. Now, it's out. Yes, all women want one-night stands. You men are nothing but meat to us! Now we gotta have another meeting and think of something else. Sigh.
